ERDAS LPS 9.3, expected to begin shipping late this month, transforms raw imagery into accurate, reliable geospatial data. A new component of the LPS 9.3 product suite, PRO600 Fundamentals for PowerMap, makes production-oriented feature extraction accessible to a broad range of users. Seamlessly integrated with Bentley PowerMap XM, PRO600 Fundamentals increases the productivity of the 3-D feature extraction process, the company says. PRO600 Fundamentals offers interoperability with a wide array of GIS and photogrammetric systems and formats. With LPS 9.3, the LPS Terrain Editor module offers a new Control Point Review Tool, enabling users to check the quality of a digital terrain model with respect to ground control points, check points, and tie points.ERDAS—www.erdas.com
